STEAM Center is a research and educational center dedicated to preparing students for 21st Century workplace careers by providing

high quality educational opportunities

in science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM) fields.

STEAM is an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics as access points for

guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking.

Unlike the traditional way of teaching, in which science fields are taught in isolation, STEAM focuses on teaching Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics in an integrated way which teaches students logic to creatively solve problems.

STEAM Center strives to be the lynchpin in this strategy, providing

curriculum, support and training for teachers and leaders, networking schools and educators

together to learn from national and international experts and from one another.
